| Peter Henry DSM
Died Sunday 26th October at Sunderland Royal Hospital aged 85. Beloved Husband of Freda and cherised by all the family.
Peter served with Honor in the costal forces during world war two and was awarded the ditingushed service medal.
All Thorugh his life he was passionate about pigeon racing and was known as part of 'Gippert and Henry'.
Everyone is welcome at a service which will be held at 2pm on Thursday 30th October, prior to a cremation at Sunderland crematorium at 3pm. Flowers welcome or a donation to the coastal forces venteran association if desired. | |

| i am leaving this on behalf of the RNA Double Seven which is a group of R.N.A. members that got together in 1982 and started to hold weekends away for ex naval people and there familys to meet and have a get together at least once a year, and after a while it extended to twice yearly now over 25 yrs on they are still holding them and it has opened up over the years to all those who served. | It is my sad duty to report that Andy Lovesy, formerly of RNAS Culdrose passed away on September 15th. He had been suffering from liver cancer, diagnosed last October, at which time he was given 18 months.
The funeral service is at Yeovil Crematorium this Friday 26th Sept, 2008, at 1100 hrs. His daughter Kelly would be delighted if any old RN chums wished to attend. Andy was the lead guitarist of several bands while an Artificer Apprentice. He went on to be an outstanding helicopter pilot, famed for landing his sea-king in the oggin and taking off again safely when on the Ark Royal. Andy will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
