| It is my sad duty to report that Andy Lovesy, formerly of RNAS Culdrose passed away on September 15th. He had been suffering from liver cancer, diagnosed last October, at which time he was given 18 months.
The funeral service is at Yeovil Crematorium this Friday 26th Sept, 2008, at 1100 hrs. His daughter Kelly would be delighted if any old RN chums wished to attend. Andy was the lead guitarist of several bands while an Artificer Apprentice. He went on to be an outstanding helicopter pilot, famed for landing his sea-king in the oggin and taking off again safely when on the Ark Royal. Andy will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
